Jogesh (Fatehabad - Haryana, India)
Jogesh is one of our growers outside the town of Fatehabad in Haryana, India. He's a third generation grower. We met him and his father in 2022. As a so-called 'model farmer' he uses his farm to help other smallholders learn the sustainable farming techniques that he started following in 2019.
Janak (Kukrian - Jammu & Kashmir, India)
Janak is another third generation grower. He grows Basmati (1121 and Type 3) as well as wheat, sugar cane, mangoes and pumpkin. His wife cooked us the most delicious pumkin curry with homemade lemon pickle and of course Basmati rice - all sourced from their farm.
